What is in your backyard? What can you do, create, or invent to make your backyard a little healthier? How can you help your fellow community members be more prepared for the next natural disaster?

Caring for My Backyard is an award winning environmental contest that challenges high school students to answer the question, “What can I do, invent, or create to better care for the environment in my backyard or to help improve the community’s preparedness for a natural disaster?”

This contest brings together the entire community around themes of personal responsibility and environmental stewardship and offers cash prizes to area schools and local students.
